Celebrating the legacy of Nathan Louis Jackson, we revisit this smart, enduring, and quietly powerful play fifteen years after it first moved audiences on our stage.

Dive into the heartwarming and thought-provoking world of Broke-ology by Nathan Louis Jackson, a poignant play that explores the complexities of family, sacrifice, and resilience. Set against the backdrop of a working-class neighborhood in Kansas City, Kansas, the King family navigates the challenges of love and duty as they confront the realities of limited resources and unbreakable bonds. With a perfect blend of humor and pathos, Broke-ology invites audiences to witness the strength of familial ties and the enduring power of hope in a touching and beautifully crafted exploration of the human spirit that will resonate long after the final curtain falls.

Please be aware, this production features strong language, and use of racial epithets. It is recommended for ages 14 and up. Broke-ology runs approx. 2 hours long, with one 15-minute intermission.
