In an effort to lessen our theatre’s environmental impact, KCRep uses mobile tickets for all of our productions, an easy, free, and paperless way to receive your performance tickets. You don’t have to worry about misplacing your paper tickets, or paying for their delivery… your tickets are easily accessible on your mobile phone or desktop, and can be printed out on your home computer if you prefer to have paper in-hand.
How It Works
Step One: Check your Email
Patrons will be sent their mobile tickets by email at least one week before their showtime, in addition to a separate receipt email that is sent at the time of purchase. (Note: it can take up to an hour to receive your receipt email after purchase.)
Step Two: Access Your Mobile Tickets
The day of your performance, open your Mobile Ticket email. You will see QR codes for all of the tickets you have purchased for this performance date. Bring your mobile phone with you to the theatre, and present it with the mobile ticket email open and available to scan. Our ushers will scan the QR codes straight from your phone screen. If you prefer to have paper in-hand, you can also print this page out and bring it with you to the theatre.
Mobile Wallet: Add tickets to your Apple or Google wallet when you receive your Mobile Ticket Email for quick and easy access when you arrive at the theatre.
Using your KCRep Account
Can’t find your Mobile Ticket email, or remember what delivery method you selected? Don’t worry! Your tickets are also accessible at kcrep.org/mytickets in your KCRep Account. This handy page also gives you access to important information like your printable parking pass for performances at Spencer Theatre. Accessing your KCRep Account is easy, just follow these three steps:
Step One: Login to your KCRep Account
Visit the Upcoming Events page on your KCRep Account by clicking here and logging in. (Once logged in, you can also access this page by clicking on your email address in the menu bar). Login to your KCRep Ticketing account using the Email and Password that you used to purchase your tickets.
The Upcoming Events page lists all the information you’ll need to enjoy your performance; any performances associated with your account will be listed here by date. When your mobile tickets are available, you will be able to access them from this page. You can also access venue maps and parking passes here.
Step Two: Mobile Ticket Availability
For performances at Spencer Theatre and Copaken Stage, mobile tickets will be accessible on the Upcoming Events page starting 7 days before your performance date. You should receive a reminder email a few days before your performance with a link to access your tickets from the Upcoming Events page. Tickets to outdoor, general admission performances, as well as any free special events (such as our Monday Night Playwright Series readings) will be accessible immediately.
Patrons who selected Mobile Ticket as their delivery method during checkout will also receive their mobile tickets by email approximately 1 week before their performance showtime, in addition to a separate receipt email.
Step Three: Access Your Mobile Tickets
When your mobile tickets are available, click on the Mobile Tickets button to open the tickets. You will see QR codes for all of the tickets you have purchased for this performance date. Bring your mobile phone with you to the theatre, and present it with the mobile tickets page (or your mobile ticket email) open and available to scan. Our ushers will scan the QR codes straight from your phone screen. If you prefer to have paper in-hand, you can also print this page out and bring it with you to the theatre.
Mobile Tickets FAQ
What if I cannot access my account? If you cannot access your KCRep ticketing account or have forgotten your password, contact our Ticketing Services Team at tickets@kcrep.org and they can send you a password reset email. In many cases, if it is within 7 days of the performance, they can also send you an email containing the QR code tickets for your performance.
What if my phone dies, breaks, or is lost before I reach the theatre? No worries! Visit our on-site Box Office at the venue the night of the show and our staff will check you in at Will-Call.
I don’t have an email address. That’s alright! Contact our Ticketing Services Team at 816.235.2700, and they will work to get you checked-in at Will Call the night of the performance.
I want to forward my tickets to a friend, how do I do this? You can forward your mobile tickets via the forward button in your email client. Can’t find your email? Contact our Ticketing Services Team at tickets@kcrep.org and they can help send you an email containing the QR code that you can forward.
The email I got after my purchase doesn’t show any QR codes – just my payment information. Is that email my ticket? No. That email is your receipt, not your Mobile Ticket. Occasionally Mobile Ticket emails have trouble being sent or end up in your Spam folder, but you can always access your tickets up to a week before your performance by visiting the Upcoming Events page on your Ticketing account.
Is there any way to get a paper ticket? I like to keep mine as a souvenir. Unfortunately, paper tickets are no longer available for most productions. However, you can print your mobile ticket email if you prefer to have paper-in-hand.
