KCRep: The Color Purple. Corey Davis is a multidisciplinary artist from Memphis, Tennessee, whose work bridges theater, music, and photography. He began performing at a young age in productions including Fences and Little Shop of Horrors before studying West African music with the Nubian Theatre Company and Muntu Dance Theater in Chicago. An internationally published fashion photographer and educator, his work has been featured in more than 25 magazines worldwide. Corey is thrilled to return to Kansas City Repertory Theatre for his second production after previously performing as a musician in The Color Purple.
