Born in England and raised in America, award winning multi- instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter Bruce Graybill got his start in professional music in 1975 as lead Guitarist for The Ebony Blue Show Band. In 1982 he was introduced to Mandolin and Winfield, later marrying into the family that introduced him to both. Awards include two first place, two third place, and nine top five placements in Mandolin at the National Flat-pick Championships (Winfield), in addition to six Kansas State Champion titles in Mandolin, and Flatpick Guitar. Bruce is an endorsing artist for Montana Lutherie and is a former President of The Classical Mandolin Society of America. Bruce performs solo, with Hot Strings, and Cordas Eclética in the Kansas City area, and conducts workshops as a nationally recognized clinician. Notable performances include The Grand Ole Opry, debut of original works at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington DC), The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts / Helzberg Hall, with the Kansas City Symphony, and Classical Mandolin Society conventions across North America.
