Inspired by KCRep’s production of Come From Away, Curated is an intimate evening created exclusively for a small group of our closest friends and supporters to experience how artists transform history into hope. 

Guests will gather at the Kemper Museum for cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dinner; a private, guided encounter with works selected especially for the evening; and a special conversation between KCRep Artistic Director and Come From Away director Stuart Carden, Kemper Executive Director Jessica May, and Kansas City’s first poet laureate Melissa Ferrer. Together, we’ll consider a question at the heart of both theatre and visual art: How do artists help communities move from collective trauma toward healing, connection, and hope?
