Becca McCracken is an award-winning casting director with more than 20 years of experience casting theatre, film, television, and commercial projects nationwide. She serves as Director of Casting & Artist Cultivation for the Tony Award-winning Court Theatre in Chicago, where she has cast more than 30 productions and is thrilled to have her debut with Come From Away at KC Rep! A member of the Casting Society’s Board of Directors, McCracken is a dedicated advocate for artists and the casting profession. She is a two-time Artios Award winner for her casting of Lyric Opera of Chicago’s West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof. An accomplished educator and speaker, she has taught and guest lectured at leading universities and training programs throughout the Midwest. McCracken is passionate about discovering, developing, and championing exceptional talent, particularly within the Midwest’s vibrant artistic communities.
