It takes thousands of people who believe in the power of live professional theatre to help us produce shows of the highest artistic quality while keeping ticket prices accessible for the entire community.  Your support, by attending Rep productions and making a tax deductible contribution, directly impacts the caliber of what you see on stage, as well as the number of children and teens we reach through Student Matinees and in-school arts classes.  Here are some of the many ways you can join our family of supporters!

 

Individual Giving and SPONSORSHIPs

Annual Fund $1-$99

 

Our Annual Fund donors support everything from the raw materials it takes to make props to discounted ticket prices for Kansas City children and teens to attend our Student Matinees.For example, a gift of $25 covers supplies for the imaginative props you see onstage, $50 buys a gallon of paint for one of the Rep’s expertly crafted sets and a gift of $90 covers nine tickets to a Student Matinee! Join our Circle of Friends to support the Rep and receive many benefits to enhance your theatergoing experience! Gifts at this level support everything from fabric for costumes ($250), to the upkeep of our sound system ($500), to teaching artist salaries for our Rep on the Road in-school theatre classes ($1,000+). Since its founding in 1964, KC Rep has become the most dynamic professional theatre in the region. Become a member of our brand new 1964 Club and you’ll support artist salaries, major technical aspects of our productions such as lighting and mechanization of the sets, and Education Outreach and New Works projects that will .  You’ll also receive access to our remodeled donor lounge at Spencer Theatre, invitations to special events and recognition as a sponsor during the run of a show! Artistic Director’s Circle – $10,000+

Members of our Artistic Director’s Circle receive all of the benefits previously mentioned and also have the opportunity to take part in exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences with Rep artists and artistic staff. Matching Gifts – INCREASE YOUR IMPACT!

Make a gift of $100 worth $200 by having your employer match your gift! Many area organizations offer matching gift programs and, as a KC Rep donor, you receive benefits equal to the combined value of your gift and your company’s match. Obtain a gift matching form from your company’s personnel office and mail the completed form to KC Rep.  We’ll take care of the rest. If you have any questions about matching gifts, call Keri L. Gifts of Stock

KC Rep accepts gifts of stock and bonds. With a gift of stock you can take a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock.  In addition to a charitable gift for tax deduction, a gift of stock offers the extra benefit of avoiding capital gains tax on stock appreciation.
