He then made his New York City debut at the New York Shakespeare Festival’s 40th anniversary production of Hair at the Delacorte Theatre, directed by Diane Paulus. That production went on to transfer to Broadway with Brandon making his Broadway debut!( Tony Award Winner for Best Revival of a Musical in 2009)and nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album that same year. Brandon’s other credits include Rhapsody In Gershwin at Quality Hill Playhouse, Hair on London’s West End (Olivier nomination for Best Musical Revival) at the Gielgud Theatre, Because of Winn-Dixie at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival (directed by John Rando), and many other theatrical and television appearances.
