Casting & Directing:
KC Rep: Come From Away, Wizard of Oz, One Of The Good Ones. Darrington is a native Kansas Citian, arts administrator, casting director, youth educator and theater artist. With over ten years of professional theater experience including performance, direction and education, Darrington now works to uphold and exceed KC Rep values, especially Empathy, Openness and Inclusion. Darrington is also the Assistant Creative Director of Stage Right Performing Arts, having directed or music directed over 10 summer youth productions since joining the staff in 2013. Darrington’s acting work has been seen in nearly every playing house in Kansas City, and he is grateful for the community building that now allows him to serve as KC Rep’s casting lead.
