Gene serves as Archivist and Curator of the Casa de Santo Nino at Zuni Pueblo, N.M. He is Guest Curator and Archivist for the John Ezell Collection, Modern Graphic Arts Library, Washington University in Saint Louis. He was a tenured Associate Professor of Design at UMKC. His fine art,Stages of Conversion, has been seen at multiple galleries in the Greater Kansas City area.
