Hannah Wien is a Chicago based Lighting Designer who spends her time turning lights on and off through not only the city of Chicago, but has had the opportunity to work across the country. A two time Non-Equity Jeff nominated designer, and now first time Equity Jeff Nominee, Hannah has been blessed to work with some amazing people doing some amazing work. If you’ve been to Chicago at the right time, you may have seen her name around town at various theatres including Lifeline (“Kitty and the Beanstalk), Manual Cinema (Associate Designer on “A Christmas Carol”), Operafest Chicago (Assistant Designer for both 2024-2025), Actors Gym (“Little Red”), and Lookingglass (“White Rooster”). This is Hannah’s first time at KC Rep, and she couldn’t be more grateful to Erica for letting her tag along. Hannah is forever grateful to the wonderful people who she’s met in the journey of her career, and especially grateful to her husband for always supporting her dreams.
