(She/Her) Jackie Skidmore is a theatre-maker, writer, and actor from Kansas City. She earned a BA in Film and Audiovisual Production from a French institution, Université Paris-EST, and her MA from Rose Bruford College, where she undertook rigorous conservatory acting training and directing studies in London. A lifelong student of the arts and the esoteric, Jackie explores the intersection of somatic experience and performance, crafting work that experiments with form and challenges conventional narratives. She is particularly interested in how people relate to their bodies—and to each other—both onstage and in life. Jackie is deeply passionate about amplifying women’s voices, queer stories, and perspectives from the global majority. When she’s not in production, you can find her buried in research, writing poetry, or at the gym, where she works as a certified personal trainer.
