Brianna Woods is so ex-ci-ted to be back home at KCRep! The Color Purple is her favorite book, she watches the movie at least once a year, quotes the film DAILY—and she’s been dreaming of telling this story ever since she got baptized at the 2016 Broadway revival. Standing room only, of course. Bri’s a Kansas native—But, she just earned her MFA in Acting from Southern Methodist University in Dallas (Pony Up, Class of 2025!) and will soon return to join the Dallas Theater Center as a company member for the 25/26 season.
