KCRep for All is back! Our FREE community tour brings One of the Good Ones to Kansas City community centers, public libraries, and non-profit organization spaces. By taking performances to local communities, KCRep for All breaks down economic and geographic barriers and makes theatre more accessible.

In partnership with The Great Plains Theatre Commons (GPCT), Tofte Lakes Center, and Tulsa Artists fellowship, KCRep has inaugurated the Four Directions Playwright Residency for Native and Indigenous playwrights. In collaboration, each organization created a weeklong residency for Madeline Easley, over a one-year timeframe.

The culminating workshop and reading will take place on December 2nd at 5pm at Copaken Stage.

Ghost Light: A Haunted Night of Songs and Stories from KC’s Cultural Crossroads returns! This hybrid concert and ghost-story event weaves together local storytellers and musicians to share frighteningly fun tales from KC’s cultural crossroads that will leave you shaking with excitement! This year’s event will be free to the public, and will take place at Roanoke Park in KCMO.

Summer Youth Theatre Ensemble

Our Summer Youth Theatre Ensemble (SYTE) is a free summer program open to high school youth. SYTE teaching artists collaborate with young actors, writers and artists to build a performance that is their own – an original theatre piece that explores and expresses the artists’ lives and perspectives.
